Stop by WEFTEC Booth 4619 for Daily Technical Presentations

WEFTEC, the Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference, is the largest annual water quality exhibition in North America. As part of our participation in the event, our wastewater experts will be giving daily technical presentations at our booth.

These presentations will take place Monday, October 7 to Wednesday, October 9 and will follow this schedule:

10:00 a.m. — Daniel Dair, our Vice President of Innovation, will discuss our WWW™ inDENSE™ hydrocyclone wasting technology. This gravimetric selection technology enhances conventional activated sludge (CAS) systems, increasing throughput, improving settling rates and enhancing biological phosphorus removal.

11:30 a.m. — Chandler Johnson, our Chief Technology Officer, will offer an overview of our WWW™ DEMON anammox treatment suite for removing ammonia and total nitrogen (TN) from wastewater, enabling facilities to meet even very low effluent TN limits. Unlike traditional nitrification-denitrification methods, our anammox technology relies on bacteria, making it a more efficient and reliable process.

1:00 p.m. — Scott Jay, our Vice President of Industrial Sales, will explore our suitable treatment options and WWW™ Integrated Solutions for industrial applications, which may include manufacturing, food and beverage, mining, oil and gas and more. He will also highlight a few recent project examples, showing how our biological wastewater technologies can address even the most demanding applications.

2:30 p.m. — Jason Calhoun, President and CTO of Arxtera, will discuss WWW™ miGRATE, our fully customizable, compostable and environmentally friendly migrating biofilm carrier (MBC) technology. Thanks to their high specific surface area, these carriers support intensified biofilm growth, while their engineered size, shape and specific gravity enable the carriers to move efficiently with process flows into clarifiers, improving sludge settling.
