Upstream Oil and Gas
Produces Water Treatment

Scalable treatment systems that offer chemical resistance and durability in oil and gas applications.

Hydraulic fracturing (fracing) and traditional methods of crude oil production create large volumes of water as a byproduct. This produced water is highly contaminated with a variety of constituents that must be removed before reuse or reintroduction into the environment. The water also has high salt concentrations, requiring water treatment equipment that is corrosion resistive.

Solutions

Oil production creates water streams with various impurities such as:

  • High level of dissolved salts (TDS)
  • High levels of oil and grease
  • Aromatic hydrocarbons (BTEX)
  • Polycyclic aromatic compounds (PAH)
  • Dissolved gasses
  • Fracing and production chemicals

As the largest and premiere plastic (polypropylene) dissolved air flotation (DAF) manufacturer in the world, we are fully equipped to address all these impurities — and more.

We designed our WWW™ DAF systems to meet the requirements of today’s produced water handling needs head-on, offering benefits like:
  • Corrosion resistance
  • Chemical treatment flexibility
  • High pH range and high temperature, TDS and salinity tolerance
  • High removal efficiency with low power and chemistry requirements
In addition to our innovative equipment, we also have the process, engineering and manufacturing expertise to design a comprehensive water treatment system that supports your present and future objectives.
