Project Engineer, Municipal
Job Description

Reports to: Sr. Process Engineer, Municipal

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Summary
The Project Engineer focuses on the design and customization of products and systems in accordance with approved customer quote specifications for our wastewater projects. Working closely with project management, process engineering, and other departments, the Project Engineer is required to ensure all engineering and design deliverables are completed in accordance with customer specifications and on time while upholding the budget and highest quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create project files out of technical proposals as developed by process engineers
  • Prepare booklets and engineering design projects for presentations & Operations & Maintenance manuals
  • Working with outside vendors getting quotes for sales team
  • Working with fulfillment team in building submittal packages for projects
  • Process and review shop drawings
  • Invoice verification and inventory analysis
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required):

  • Able to sit and stand for long periods of time
  • Possess manual dexterity to efficiently enter data into a computer

  • Speak with easily understood tone so that others may clearly understand
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
